A Welcome from the President
As President of the Fulton County Taxpayers Foundation (FCTF), I thank you for inquiring about our organization. The FCTF is a tax-deductible, 501©(3) advocate of lower property taxes for property owners in Atlanta and Fulton County.
Organized in 1992, the FCTF has achieved its mission each year through lobbying the City of Atlanta, Fulton County and the Atlanta/Fulton School Districts to achieve a State-required “revenue neutral” condition by reducing the city/county/school millage whenever the annual reassessments occur. The FCTF also serves as “The Watchdog” of the taxpayers, notifying the taxpayers of any legislative proposals that are not in their best interests.
The FCTF offers its members a carefully-researched Monthly Newsletter on ways to save property taxes based on “best practices” of other cities, counties and school districts. In addition, the FCTF offers its members a Reassessment Appeal service by one of our team of Certified Appraisers at a special membership price.
